Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) are on everyone's lips. The EU Commission will replace the previous CSR Directive
(Non-financial Reporting Directive) with a Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This is of considerable importance because the number of companies subject to reporting requirements will increase significantly. In addition, the future new regulation
provides for an obligation to conduct an external audit. In this respect, not only will more companies be subject to the obligation to publish a non-financial statement in
their management report in the future, but this information will presumably be prepared more carefully by the companies, as there will be an obligation for external audit.
