Encryption

Information sent over the internet without encryption might be seen by other people while it is in transit. This applies to e-mails, but also to websites you are visiting. Therefore, all of DIT’s website contents are encoded and transmitted via https connections.

Collection and processing of personal data

Each access to our web site and each download of files available from our site is logged automatically. This storage is done for internal system-related and statistical purposes only. We are in a position of trust when handling personal data and we ensure that such data is only used for the purpose for which it was collected. The collection of data is strictly related to the intended purpose and details will not be transferred to third parties.

If an access to our website causes a fault on the server side, for example during an unauthorized attempt made to access the administrator area, we will also store the IP address. In such a case, the IP address will be stored for the duration of four weeks and then deleted automatically. If unauthorized attempts to access constitute an attack on the server, we reserve the right to forward the IP address to the investigative authorities in charge.

This website uses Piwik, a web analytics open-source software for statistical evaluation of visitor accesses.
