The Bavarian Journal of Applied Sciences (BJAS) is a young open access and peer-reviewed journal that is published by Deggendorf Institute of Technology, Bavaria. The BJAS provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers in applied sciences for imparting and sharing knowledge in the form of empirical and theoretical research papers. The journal welcomes and acknowledges submissions from researchers in management, economics, tourism, health sciences, IT, technology, natural sciences, engineering and others.
It is available in both print and online format.
Call for Papers, Issue 4, (December 2018)
For the next issue, which will be published in December 2018, BJAS invites papers that contribute to the topic of Mobility.
Contributions may refer to the following subjects
- Concepts of future mobility
- Autonomous driving
- Electromobility
- Geoinformation and geoinformatics
- Transportation management
- Tourism
However, these keywords are only a suggestion. If there are additional issues you are doing research on which are related to one of the main topics you are welcome to submit a paper.
Contributions will be chosen for review by the journal’s scientific editorial board. They will be reviewed in a double-blind peer review process. Please send your manuscript to the editorial team at
The deadline for submission is July 1st, 2018. Notification of acceptance for review will be given until July 5th, 2018. Papers can be submitted in either English or German.
